Why I built this.

I'm Jeff Welch, founder of Chain Reaction Labs Inc. I build software and run my own companies on AI.

I started Upfront Systems to give owner-run businesses the same tools: a website that makes the phone ring, a Google listing full of real reviews, and an AI front desk that answers the calls you miss and books the job.

Every price is posted on this site, before you ever talk to me. Everything we build goes in your name: the site, the domain, the Google listing, the ad account and your data.

Our designs were first built for a 30-year-old roofing company. If you're reading this, Sam is a tap away, and I'll read what you two talk about.

Reviews

  • We ask every customer, the same way, after every job.
  • We never pay for reviews or offer anything for one.
  • We never filter out unhappy customers before they can review.
  • We never write reviews, and we reply to every one in your voice.

Email

  • Every email carries a real mailing address.
  • Subject lines say what's inside.
  • Every email has a working opt-out, and we honor it.
  • Sam's email comes from a separate sending address, signed as an AI.

Calls

  • No AI cold calls. Ever.
  • The AI calls back only people who asked for a call.
  • Every call opens with "I'm an AI assistant."
  • Calls are recorded only with notice in the first sentence.
